Why we like it: Solid, grippable, no-slide form factor, and it charges a couple of devices at the same time reasonably quickly. The sturdy Tego brick has helpful internal lights indicating its own charge remaining so you're not unpleasantly surprised during a charging session. It took just a few minutes to revive my completely dead phone to 10 percent, and it fully charged in less than an hour. About the size of a short, fat iPhone, with a playful design that makes it look like a Lego, the Tego Power Grid is a portable power source to recharge any device connectable via a USB cable. It's inevitable that while traveling, your phone will have its charge expire when you're farthest from any usable outlet, so it's good to have a backup power option.
